ORIGINS
"...used to not be the greatest sharpshooter known to man. Some argue he wasn't even a sharpshooter at all... More of just a bum, a dropout, carnie, druggie, cash thief, jailbird, A freak and a failure,
But he didn't stay that way..."
An orphan as a child, young Clint Barton and his brother, Barney sought to seek a new life, running from their orphanage and finding themselves joing a circus, The Carson Carnival of Traveling Wonders.
At the circus, Clint found himself amazed by the talent of the Swordsman, falling under his apprenticeship alongside his brother. It was during this time that Clint was introduced to the art of archery, and, seeing as he had few other things to do, he devoted himself to the craft.
One day, Clint found his idol stealing funds from the show, and realizing the wrongdoing, went to inform the authorites, yet instead finding himself beat by his own role model, scarring him for life.
Recovering from this experience, the young boy was seperated from not only Swordsman, but his brother as well. Nevertheless, Clint continued to practice his archery, turning his anger into skill, and joining several other circuses along the way.
Through various circumstances, Clint found himself discovered by Nick Fury, being recruited to join S.H.I.E.L.D. and later the Avengers, making numerous friends and alliances along the way.
